Inspirational Reader’s Choice Award for Broken Wings and a GIVEAWAY!

A few weeks ago, I told you that Broken Wings was a finalist in Faith, Hope, and Love’s Inspirational Reader’s Choice Award. The FHL chapter of RWA (Romance Writers of America) meets during the week of the annual RWA Convention. This year it was held in Anaheim, CA. I was truly honored and so wanted to be there for the festivities, but with several trips planned this fall it didn’t work out. You know what they say about hindsight and all that. What a sweet surprise when Nancy Farrier, the IRCA coordinator, called me last Thursday and told me Broken Wings had won for Women’s Fiction. Isn’t the award beautiful?
